(1 customer review)

A film about barn quilts and the meaning behind them.

Ashtabula County’s barn quilt trail has grown to 100 plus barn quilts in four years. This documentary tells the story of the trail from the perspective of artists, a trail founder and barn quilt owners. Barn quilts are rural art works that are displayed on barns or other rustic buildings. Their quilt patterns and designs often tell a story about the farm, the family that worked it or an event. As Midwestern as apple pie, barn quilts are rich with color and stories! One hour documentary.

Mr. Feather created a magnificent work of historical significance!
It gives me goose bumps. I loved it. Listening to the folks talk about their squares reinforces all my thoughts and dreams about the quilt trail model. It honors history, the arts, brings community together and supports economic opportunities.
I particularly liked the ending where you mentioned and honored sponsors and VIP’s.
Donna Sue Groves, barn quilt trail founder, Adams County, Ohio
