Bookstore open!
Feather Cottage Media has an online bookstore that provides access to all of Carl’s books published by Feather Cottage Media, including his latest volume, Still More Wandering Back-Roads West Virginia.

While Carl’s books have always been available through Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) and will continue to be there, the new bookstore platform offers the same books at or below the KDP price and with much improved photo reproduction and print quality. The books are produced by regional printers for whom book printing and binding is their core business, not a sideline.
KDP takes a huge chunk the author’s selling price for a royalty, up to 60 percent after the cost of the book. Our new bookstore platform offers a better return to the author and better buying experience for the reader. We are seeing much faster fulfilment of our titles, as well.
The three titles that are not published by Feather Cottage Media–Mountain People in a Flat Land (Ohio University Press) and Covered Bridges of Ashtabula County and Hidden History of Ashtabula County (Arcadia Press)–are not printed by KDP but are available on amazon.com. These titles are not on the Feather Cottage Media bookstore site.
