The images on this page are of the late Russel Feather, son of James Walter and Estella Harsh Feather.

They include photographs made by the author, Carl E. Feather, grandson of Russel and Maud, during visits to their farm in Eglon, 1974-1990.

Also in this collection are images from the photo albums of Russel and Maud. A special thanks to Joann Beasely for preserving and sharing these albums with the author.

Carl E. Feather

Carl E. Feather is a retired, award-winning print journalist and photographer who lives in Bruceton Mills, W.Va. His work has received awards from Associated Press, UPI, Thomson Newspapers, and CNHI newspapers.
He provides boutique film-to-digital transfer services, writes for Goldenseal Magazine and is the author of seven books. A film collector since high school days, he pursues documentary photography and filmmaking, as well.
