Pleasure Grounds, GOTL history book

Geneva-on-the-Lake started out as a “Pleasure Grounds” opened on July 4, 1879, and quickly grew into a summer resort town that, by the 1920s, had firmly established itself as the working man’s playground. This book, illustrated with hundreds of vintage photographs, is the story of a families and the vacationers they served from generation to generation. Written for the 150th anniversary of the resort, the book is a documentary of the community, its businesses and the people who found pleasure in its amusements and beach, year after year.

Amazon reviewers say:

This is a great historical of Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio. I started just browsing through to look at pictures and was soon obsessed with reading the stories of the people and places. Thank you, for your dedication to history!
