Setting up Shop in Davis
Feather Cottage Media books will be available to examine and purchase at the ArtSpring event in Davis, W.Va., May 23 and 24.
ArtSpring is the annual arts festival in Thomas and Davis. It opens Friday evening and runs through Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. The Davis Fire Hall is the site of the market for artisans on Saturday and Sunday.
Carl’s new book, Wandering Tucker County, will be available in three options: Standard edition, which is sold on Amazon.com, is 550 pages and sells for $49.95 on amazon. At ArtSpring, it will be 10 percent off, $44.00.
The expanded edition of the book, which adds another 50 pages of text and photos, will be available with a heavier cover and better reproduction for $54.00, which is 10 percent off the price at our books.by store. A very limited number of hardcovers will be available for $65 (normally $75.00). This option is not available from either amazon or our online store.
All of Carl’s other books in the Wandering Back-Roads West Virginia series will be offered at 10 percent off, and there will be even greater savings on bundles. The books we sell at our market booth are of higher quality than those churned out by amazon.
Feather Cottage Media will also be selling at the Davis Farmers and Artisans Market on Friday evenings, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. this summer. The market is held next to the riverfront park along the Blackwater River.
